This is because of the bulky piping systems that are normally run through the walls of the home, making a retrofit of a central vacuum system difficult and expensive. The cost of a central vacuum system can run into the thousands of dollars, and to retrofit an existing home or condo can add thousands more.

	RMH-582 For surface mount of unit on a 2x4 wall. The inlet valve with remote start feature is located on opposite side of the wall from the main vacuum unit. Perfect for installation in a closet or hallway. Includes 6' cord for plugging into standard electrical outlet.
	RMH-583 For surface mount of unit on one side of a single pane wall. The remote start inlet valve is located on the opposite side of the wall from the main unit. Easiest installation and perfect for mounting in a cabinet or cupboard. Includes 6' cord for plugging into electrical outlet.
	RMF-581 For flush mounting inside of a 2x4 wall. This remote start installation is our neatest style, with the units face and bag compartment on one side of the wall and the inlet valve is on the opposite side. This model is designed to be hardwired to an electrical circuit.
	RMF-580 For flush mounting inside a 2x4 wall where the remote start inlet valve is desired at a different height than the top of the unit.
